Call to Worship
Our Father, you are in heaven, high and lifted up,
higher than our highest thoughts!
Holy is your name; beside you there is no other!

You are God, and you alone!
Receive us into your kingdom, the kingdom of your anointed Son,
Jesus, whose name we bear.

Receive us, for we come to you in his name
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Confession
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried;
On the third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit,
One holy church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon
God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness,
we lie and do not practice the truth.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light,
we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive
us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Benediction
As you go in the love of the Father,
the grace of the Son, and the hope of the Holy Spirit,
may you do justice, love mercy,
and walk humbly with our Lord until we return.
Peace be with you all.
