Get Connected!

The City is a personalized social networking website (kind of like Facebook) specifically for CTK Church. It’s a great web tool we use to keep in touch with each other schedule events, help teams organize and plan, and enable City Groups to communicate with each other and pray for each other.

Super simple 3 step setup

To start using the City is as easy as 1-2-3.

  1. Create an account. The City will use your email address as your login ID. When you create an account, you’ll need to specify if you are a part of the Uptown campus or the Mt. Washington campus.
  2. Personalize your account. The City is a tool to help us connect with each other and is a great way to introduce yourself to others and for others to get to know you. Make sure you upload a picture of yourself, provide contact information (if you’re ok with that), and specify “skills” that will be useful as you get more involved. Finally, make sure you set your email settings to determine how you would like to receive information from people in the church.
  3. Join some groups. The City enables different groups in the church to communicate with other people who are in that group. Everyone who has an account on the City is automatically placed in two groups: the main “Christ the King Church” group, and a campus group for either Uptown or Mt. Washington.

The City is all about groups!

There are lots of groups to join on the City. Each group has its own discussions, events, prayer requests and so forth that pertain to that group. For example, if you help serve in ctk|kids on Sunday mornings, then information about that ministry will be posted in the CTK Kids group on the City. Or if you are in one of our City Groups that meet during the week, then you can join your City Group’s group on the City and keep in touch with everyone there.

There are more groups to join, too, and people are always adding groups. You can even add your own “seed group” if you have an idea for a group to start.

You can search for any of these groups on the City and ask to join them:

  • CTK Moms
  • Young Marrieds
  • CTK Socials
  • Theology Q&A
  • Many more

As you join more groups, you will be able to see more of what’s going on and connect with other people at CTK.
