Reaching out to our city
“Mosaic” is the name for the outreach ministry of Christ the King Church. The goal of Mosaic is to cross cultures to share the love of Christ with our neighbors.
CTK Church was founded with a simple desire to see people reconciled to God and each other through Jesus Christ. In the Bible, this is called the “ministry of reconciliation.” Therefore, “we are ambassadors for Christ” because God is “making his appeal through us” (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). We believe God has called us to be ambassadors of reconciliation in our city.
We believe that community transformation happens as the church lives out the values of God’s Kingdom. That’s what Jesus was talking about when He said we are supposed to be a “city on a hill” (Matthew 5). We can fulfill this mission through simple acts of service and kindness in our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods and city.
Since the city of Cincinnati is a beautifully diverse place, we will need to cross cultures to reach other people who are different from us. Whenever we share the love of Christ with people of different ethnicities, different income levels or different ages from us, we’re expressing Cross Cultural Love.
We believe one of the greatest ways to have a lasting impact on our city is by planting new churches and new campuses of CTK church.
Pastor Dustin Nimmo is leading a team of people from our Uptown campus to plant CTK Mt. Washington.
UPDATE: God has blessed this campus with a new facility on the East Side of town! They are now CTK Eastern Hills.
Christ the King Church partners with Vision Nationals to plant churches all over India, Nepal and Thailand. The goal of Vision Nationals is to plant 10,000 churches by the year 2030. Yeah, you read that right. Check it out here. Additionally, CTK Church has sent a team to do short term medical clinics, teach at their Bible College and Seminary, help with their orphanage.
FreeStyle is a homegrown ministry where CTK Church folks welcome neighborhood kids into their homes to share the gospel, have fun activities, eat meals, and meet practical needs. For more information about Freestyle, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
